Coming to the end of the year

  • Dec. 30th, 2008 at 8:41 AM

Christmas is over… =( I have to wait another year for it to come again! Bummer

Christmas Eve: My friends and family came over and we had a big dinner. Then, we opened gifts like crazy and I had boxes and wrapping paper everywhere! Cleaning up was the hardest part…and my least favorite part. My favorite part was being showered with presents lol. In the end, I got 2 purses, 2 boots, 1 running shoes, 1 pj, 1 basket filled with Italian pasta/sauce, 1 coupon book (courtesy of my youngest brother. It’s an “I’ll do anything no question asked” type of a book), craft storage box, and lots of socks (knee socks for boots).

Christmas day: I spent Christmas day with my in laws. We showed up at their house, exchanged gift and ate dinner. Afterward, we had cake (the white cake with strawberry and x mas decoration). The cake was delicious! The weird part was Angela trying to eat the snowman and noel sign, even though we told her it was made out of wax! She’s weird sometimes…

Ok, than it comes down to the “New Year Resolution”. Here is the growing list that I have

  1. I’m not going to say lose weight because it never happens. So instead, I want to live a healthier life style by being more active. Ex. Play tennis, go for jogs, play sports or at least do something that involves me moving
  2. I want to make sure my room is clean and neat
  3. I want to dress better. I’ll attempt to pick out my outfit the night before and wake up earlier to apply some makeup [I know this one wont happen] So I’ll say, be more presentable
  4. I WILL NOT unless I have to, tie my hair in a pony tail. Well, if I do, than I will have my bangs down or style it. I am tired of looking bald in my pictures because all of my hair is tied back. Argh
  5. Take better care of my beauty. Make sure my nails are trim and nicely colored (I have tons of nail polish that I don’t use…should start using them now). Make sure I put lotion on all the time because I’m pretty ashy. Make sure that my eyebrow is plucked and not bushy. Yeah… I know I let myself go… the list just continues
  6. Attempt to treat my family to lunch/dinner (at least once a month and it’s a pretty big family)
  7. Be more organized. I have an electronic organizer that I dislike. I hate using a stylus to type because writing it in a book is sooo much easier. Beside, you can’t use color or stickers in a palm polit.  I got myself a new planner (since I plan a lot and I like to write down my “things to do”) and I’m going to go get some new stickers. I’m debating on a professional all black, or the cute Japanese/Taiwanese kind. I know the cute one will be a little more girly.
  8. Be productive. I mean actually work this year
  9. Finish my 2008 “must do” list. I need to print my engagement photo (never had the chance to get around it). Also, I think I’m going to print EVERY post I ever made on LJ and make a book. I mean I started this thing in sophomore year in high school. I know… that’s a lot of paper but hey one day I’ll look back at this and probably think “what was I smoking, printing my entire life on paper” lol. But it will be interesting… my life.
  10. Start posting on LJ everyday (preferable at night). This ties with #9
  11. Start on my family tree. This is something that I hope I could pass down to my future grandchildren. It sucks not knowing the people before you. haha it will be vintage one day. The hardest part is… how do I start? Who do I omit? What guideline am I going with, and do I do this scrap book style or photo album style. I think I’m going to go with photo album (so much easier).
  12. Work on my temper. It’s getting worst lately and my tolerance level is rock bottom. I have to work on raising the bar.
  13. Make it a habit to back up things on my computer… needless to say why *tears*
  14. To be continue....
I think i have a couple more but... I can't think of it right now. Anyways, back to work now and I'll post the rest of my day later tonight.
